ASTON MARTIN V12 SPEEDSTER 2021

Following in the footsteps of the purist Valkyrie, Aston Martin’s next limited release is the Speedster, recalling the open-cockpit prototype race cars of the ’50s and ’60s.

Taking inspiration from the 1953 DB3S and 1959 Le Mans-winning DBR1, the Speedster has Aston Martin’s AMG-sourced twin-turbo V12 properly mounted in the front, making 700 horsepower and 555 ft-lb of torque.

This will push the Speedster from 0-62 in 3.5 seconds and a limited 186 MPH top speed. To get the most aurally-pleasing exhaust note to match the driving experience, Aston engineers created an exclusive stainless steel exhaust system that exits through the rear diffuser, creating a Formula One-esque soundtrack.

The interior is split by bodywork running through the cockpit, with jet fighter-inspired touches like red pull straps and exposed structural carbon fiber.

Only 88 V12 Speedsters will be made, with deliveries beginning in early 2021.
