The ITALIAN exotic carmaker, Lamborghini, is on a roll, and it’s not slowing down anytime soon. First, they’ve had success with the Lamborghini Urus Sports Utility vehicle, followed by record-breaking production figures – 7,000 units for the Aventadors and 9,000 units for the Huracán in 2017 (thedrive.com).
it’s an evolution from the Huracán Performante with impressive upgrades.
The Huracán EVO is the very definition of evolution: it is a step ahead, redefining the segment parameters. It is remarkably easy to drive while delivering the most responsive, sensory and agile driving experience, in every environment.
The Huracán EVO inherited most of the attributes from the Performante including a 5.2-liter naturally-aspirated Lamborghini V10 engine, uprated to produce higher power output with titanium intake valves and a refined lightweight exhaust system. It registers an output of 640 hp (470 kW) at 8,000 rpm with 600 Nm of torque delivered at 6,500 rpm. For the record, it will also accelerate from 0-100 km in 2.9 seconds and from 0-200 km/h in 9.0 seconds, with a top speed of more than 325 km.
The aerodynamics of the car are specially designed to enhance the driving dynamics of the Huracán EVO. The aesthetic of the new front bumper, now more assertive looking, is also meant to achieve better aerodynamic efficiency via the front splitter with an integrated wing. The enlarged air intakes take after the Ypsilon shape that is inherent in Lamborghini design DNA.
Interior the newly added 8.4-inch capacitive touchscreen with the multi-finger gesture control feature conveniently controls the infotainment system and most in-car functions. An optional dual-camera telemetry system is also offered via the touchscreen, allowing advanced telemetry recording and analysis. An integrated high-capacity hard disk is also available.
